Summer and winter tourist center in the northwestern part of Slovenia, near the triple border with Italy and Austia, Kranjska Gora reaches its southern border with the Triglav National Park der. The mighty peaks of the Julian Alps, the forests that extend from Mojstrana to Rateče and land between these ski resorts invite hikers, bikers and skiers. The Kranjska Gora ski lifts have the longest tradicione in Slovenia. They are easily accessible, being located near the international highway. The climatic conditions are favorable, thanks to the altitude (valley station of the plant to 813 meters), and the slopes are suitable for all skiers. For beginners and amateurs are the land of Kranjska Gora and Martuljek, while Podkoren there a run for advanced skiers, on which every year the world's best skiers compete in two races - slalom and giant slalom - for the Cup world.
