Kraljevica is located 20km south of Rijeka (Fiume), immediately after the Bay of Bakar and before the bridge to the island of Krk.
The country stretches from the hill with the castle Frankopan overlooking the entrance to the fjord in Bakar (above the bay where the shipyard Kraljevica) up to the resort and the beaches of Uvala Scott Ostro. Kraljevica is ideal as a base for day trips and comfortably move to the island of Krk, to the rivers of Opatija (30km north) and Crikvenica (10km south) and from the Alpine region of Gorski Kotar (20km) . The beaches are rocky Uvala Scott and Ostro with concrete terraces and partly of pebbles and gravel.
