Crikvenica
The town of Crikvenica is situated a few kilometers away from the city of Rijeka, located on the Croatian coast of the Adriatic Sea, the resident population 
in this locality, exceeds the few hundred eleven thousand people. From the historical point of view, the town of Crikvenica has an origin that dates back more or less, in the early fifteenth century: this hypothesis is supported by the presence of the monastery. The development of tourism began in the nineteenth century, and this date coincides with a significant change in the society: in fact, Crikvenica became a center for the treatment of certain health problems, because of the mild climate enjoyed this location , together with the purity of the air and the vegetation present. Later, they are home to hotels particularly attentive to the comfort and, moreover, another tourism was attracted by the beauty of these beaches, even certified through the famous Blue Flag certification. For holiday lovers of sport, however, no shortage of suitable facilities to practice them, there are opportunities for distraction, even just walking along the coast and in urban garden, allowing himself, then, of worthy meals of fish, cooked according to local tradition. It is not difficult to reach this seaside city, given the presence of the city of Rijeka, not very far, in addition, during the summer season, there are ferries, which allow to reach this place, starting from the biggest harbors of the northern Adriatic.
